Children's Story Books

Unfortunately, this was from an advertisement at NIE's bookshop.

The author should have stated the second sentence as "Children's Story Books" since the bookshop wouldn't have sold only 1 book.

Tattoos

Having the apostrophe before the 's', indicates the phrase after the noun as something that belongs to the word 'tattoo'.

The punctuation is unnecessary and should have been written as 'tattoos' instead.

Family Planning

The author should have said "Please use the entrance behind the building" or "Please use alternate entrance" with an arrow.

"Use rear entrance" is too crude a phrase, especially with the unfortunate first sentence.

Ironing Board to Burn the dress

In this picture, the author apparently seems to be a non-English speaker as he/she assumes that applying heat is the same as burning.

The author should have said "Houying Wooden Plank to Iron the Dress"

Included All New Arrival

In this picture, the author has made a grammatical error. Instead of 'Included All New Arrival', the author should have said "All New Arrivals Are Included".

All Prices Are Before Less

This advertisement has 2 errors: a usage and a spelling error.

The first mistake lies within the sentence "All Prices Are Before Less". Here, the author had translated the word 'less' from the word 'discount', literally meaning 'a small amount' or a 'lesser amount'. The author should have said "All Prices Are Before Discount". Ironically, the author knows what a discount in, as shown in the second sentence, where there lies the second error.

The second error lies within the spelling of the word 'before'. The author had taken the SMS spelling of before as 'B4'. He/She should have spelt it correctly as 'before' since it is an advertisement to the public.
